Business Situation

Establish a stable, centrally controlled mainframe-like environment to simplify operations, support future growth, and allow the web-enablement of mission-critical PeopleSoft applications.

Solution

Consolidation of PeopleSoft and other key applications previously running on 28 Data General and Compaq servers onto three 24-processor Unisys ES7000 Orion 200 servers. Employs Windows® 2000 Datacenter Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, and SQL Server™ 2000, will support the company’s upgrade to PeopleSoft 8.0.
